im thinking of selling my astravan to get one, looking to see if any has any opinions on them?

Navara is the one with the airbags that will finish you off in a crash isn't it?

I'd prefer the Astravan.

that sounds safe

im after a pickup now, more practical for what i need it for. not too keen on the new shape warriors & prefered the looks of this.

i have a navara

2.5td goes well enough pulls trailer fine
is quite bouncy on the road when unloaded
mines 05 plate last of old shape i believe

boss just bought one as a works van,

08 reg, full leather (although rather slippy) satnav etc.

bit scary on roundabout in the wet in 2wd mode

iv driven quite a few, a million times better than warriors and hilux's in my opinion.
try and go for the aventura model as like said above it has sat nav full leather and quite a few other goodies.
theres a black one going round my way and every bit of chrome is now black along with the standard rims and badges, looks wicked.

think there is a recall reprog out now for that issue. When its retested it should be ncap 3star instead of 1star, which is fairly good as far as trucks go.

Very poor engine me mates boss has had 2 engine rebuild and they are renowned to blow the engines so just be careful on purchase you actually see nivaras being sold with spare engine

We had one @ work on demo, used it to tow a few thing's and didnt struggle one bit. That was with a two ton tractor on a trailor
