Right basically i have been mis sold a gap insurance policy, i want to cancel it, still within my 14 day cooling off period. found this in the small print

Cancellation
You may cancel the policy within 30 days of the start date without financial penalty provided no claim has been made. Thereafter both parties must give 30 days notice of cancellation. No premium refund will be given.

So does this mean if i cancel now (took it out a week ago) i will get full amount i paid back? im guessing it means no premium refund after 30 days?

Sounds to me as if you have to give 30 days notice to get any money back. So that means you'd have to cancel it on the day you took it out.
