I ordered a hire car on tuesday of astra/focus size. Got there to see one of the managers leaving in his nice shiney Golf GT (it seems all the staff take the good cars home ) and soon learnt I had the choise of a chevrolet lassetti (estate) or errr a chevrolet lessetti (estate) wasn't happy but had little choice as had to leave early for north east yesterday.
What a complete pile of poo, underpowered, felt dangerous in the wet at any kind of speed, noisey I also managed to get hit by a flying piece of platic which dented the bonnet
In summary don't use enterprise

I had my curtesy car from there a few years ago, and it was the worst smelling car i have ever been in. Our local one used to supply cars for takeaways and it smelled like everything off their menu, that had gone off, along with some bad B.O. added

i had a enterprize rent a car once, got picked up in a 1.9cdti astra sportshatch anyway got there and they give me a astra elite 1.6 full leather and that, when it went back it had racing slicks, no locking wheel nuts, cd player came on but did not put out any sound, handbrake cable snapped, ecu light on and id imagine the sump full of shrapnel

I drove this all the way to durham and back 340 odd miles in a day was not so good

When my car broke down the AA arranged for a courtesy car as they could not recover my car until the following day. I was given a rusty r-reg Mondeo with the petrol light flashing, all four tyres near empty, a radio that did not work and a boot that would not stay open on it's own. Some people are never satisfied eh!!
