Don't actually need help from you Tom (well, you might be of some assistance) it's about my sat nav
Right, the screen keeps going off on it, it didn't do it the 1st couple of times I used it. But the last few times, the screen would randomly go blank on it, although a quick tap to the screen would sort it and it would come back on.
So, I lent it to my boss last night to see if it still does it as it's had a few days to ''rest'', and he said ''it was fine until I got on the motorway, I had 10 miles until I needed to get off, so it went off, but as soon as I was 2 miles away from the juction I needed to get off at, it came back on, so it must have sleep mode''
I thought this way be a coinsedance? or is goosed?

Unless its about which manbag to buy, what fake tan or sunbed to use or how to wax yourself I doubt he could help.

Yeah if its not broken then it'll be a setting (probably power saving) on the system. Have a look in there and see.

I haven't found anything like that as yet.
But I haven't messed with the settings, and its been doing it whilst on charge.

Is it turning off at a certain speed? You can set it so the screen turns off unless you tap it, or return to the legal limit for the road.

I've got a Tomtom one, it's got some power save settings where it turns off after so long, can't remember where it is in the menu, I'll have a look after my tea if you've not sorted it

Right, just looked and on mine you go into change preferences, go along a few pages to brightness preferences, when you go into press done then it comes up with the options:
Screen always on
Turn screen off between instructions
Turn screen off always
