I know quite a few people on here ride MTB's but does anyone know a reputable place online to buy a racing/road bike.
My budget is around £300-400.
Any help appreciated, cheers.

Would struggle to get a new one for that money I would think, may be wrong though. http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/SpecialEditionBikes.asp This place have cheap good quality bikes. Some prices are close to your budget. I had one as a training bike when I was cycling and had no problems.

Cheers for the help guys. I've just discovered that there's a Evans cycles about 10 minutes from me so I will go down there and see what is the right size for me.
I am prepared to spend abit more (up to £550ish) to get one with a lighter frame / better components. It's just that I'm pretty new to road bikes and have never owned one. What are the best makes for beginners under say; £800?

Specialized Allez and Dawes Giro seem to be pretty common and good bikes to start with?
