Hi, after discovering the sky high car insurance prices for young drivers these days, I've started to look into Pass Plus.

Does anyone know roughly what it costs?

wasnt worth it for me IMO, only knocked a tad off insurance, and useless after 1st year

Mine cost £90, saved somewhere between £90-100 IIRC on insurance.
Didn't really lose anything, gained some experience. Nae bad.

Same here, knocked £300 off my insurance iirc Was well worth it tbh

Mine cost £60 I think, and you get £55 back

Well you did 2 years ago. I actually made money on it as I did it with a mate so the instructor charged less. I drove to Aberdeen, he drove back. Sorted

When I took mine, I'd already insured the car (£880 for 6 months; but had 1 year NCB after 6 months) but the insurers gave me 3 months in which to take my pass plus and gave me back £330 when it was completed.

So I got 6months for £550 and got 12months NCB
