AVG 7.5 just gave up the ghost...
avg 8.0 is crap imo.
can anyone recommend me a good antivirus + firewall...which is free please.

XP firewall and Avast for antivirus - suppose to be one of the best currently and it's FREE. I find it a lot quicker than AVG and uses less resources

Avira desktop, spybot s+d and ccleaner, thats what i use.

just been sent a copy + crack for NOD32 2.7..... apparently thats good no?
otherwise ill give avast + xp firewall a go.
