hi all currently building a c20xe corsa heres a rough outline of spec
c20xe from astra gte dizzy type early engine.
f20 gearbox
flat type flywheel
metal headgasket
powercap
k+n panel filter
straight through centre section
magnex backbox
fully stripped out
buckets and harnesses
roll cage
ally fuel tank in back
battery mounted in back
what sort of 0-60 do these things do?
what sort of cars will they hold there own against?
i had a do with one a year or 2 back when i had my evo but made him look daft (prob due to 350+bhp lol)
im just curious as to what it will be like against other cars on the road.

Have a crack at anything in them really.
It's funnier seeing people's reaction when they see a Corsa chasing/beating their new fast expensive car haha.

Yup 0-60 = 6.5 / 7 secs
0-130 dials, 130 (on the dials) with plenty left in it!

because the public highway is not a race track for men with a small penis to go out and see what they can 'beat'

My small penis has nothing to do with how fast I drive
I didn't know the corsa's were that fast, wouldn't mind giving it a go with one, possibly down past a school if I could arrange it.

yes had 0-60 in about 6-6.5 with my stripped corsa on 16's and had genuine 141mph with my tomtom, and was off the clocks at 130mph
it really depends what you mean about hold its own against as it comes down to the driver to, typically ive followed a 180bhp audi tt and was keeping with him no trouble on a twisty lane near northampton, but on the other hand i once met a guy in a 1.6 si fiesta and if it was'nt for the shear power i had over him he would have killed me as you could tell he could drive lol

My old one had 140 on TomTom apparently! They are quick, and if it's stripped out it'll easily be in the 6-6.5's to 60!

What suspension and brakes have you got? I use to win cars with well over 300bhp on the twistes in my xe with the old J&R performance engine in it
As for 0-60 who knows with no diff and stock power your not going to see the 5’s inless you have drag slicks on
As for what will they hold up against well not match these days if you find some one that can drive the new hot hatches right.
Prob 6 – 7secs 0-60 depending on a few things
¼ in 14 – 15.5secs @ 90-100
As for top end if on the F20 and stock revs (6750) with 195/45/15’s it would top out at 137
Don’t race anything with a diesel engine from bmw on a straight
