Toy or daily drive?

Possibly get an E36 M3.

Maybe a impreza.

If its daily then maybe a Golf GTi 1.8T or a E46 BMW 325 or something?

i could in todays climate seen 1 for sale @ £5500 and if he is desparate to sell then he would be mad to turn down 5000

It'd be hard to get an Evo 5 for 5k, but you could get a cracking Evo 4 for close to 5k.

the market is flooded with evos though and not many people are buying so there are bargains to be had when owners are desparate to get rid of them.

i wouldnt be spending 5k on a iv unless it had a v+ engine fitted.

I think its the oposite look at the price of Evo 5-6's they have gone up recently due to being in the cheaper tax band.

You wont get a decent 5 for 5k it will be a tired dog someones trying their hardest to shift.

A mate of mine imports them a few of them a month and say he's had much more demand for 5/6's than anything else.

I've also been watching these for a while not that I've got the money to run one

my viii mr had cheap tax as it was registered as PLG when imported so it wouldnt have got stung for the 440
