Everybody caught driving while disqual should get jail time.
The disqualification clearly hasn't been a good enough punishment.

Harsh he should have got off and stabbed someone and got away with community service
This country is a joke
[Edit: didnt read that he was disqualified, he therefore deserves jailtime}

Guy deserves it tbh, and the police driving is legendary wrong side of the road on blind corners, and at 44 seconds i have the feeling the car was slightly sideways

It wasn't a blind corner at 55 seconds :S he could see the exit of the corner and that no-one had driven into it...

Does the 3 year ban start with immediate effect or when he is released from prison?

Pretty sure it's immediate as even people who havn't got full licenses/old enough to drive will be banned from the day of court etc..
That is a joke though, as said if he'd have stabbed someone or just burgled a house he would of got less

Crime doesn't fit the punishment imo!
The biker looks like he was riding well and wasn't out of control... The police officer even admits this!
and the police officer admits 'traffic is very very light'.
ok bit stupid if he's already disqualified, but in my opinion he should've got say 3-6 months jail time. Not 15 months!
It's a joke considering car thieves that steal a car, crash it into a lamp post and do it again and again rarely get anything more than 3 months community service!

Can't really see much dangerous riding, an un-exciting video.
Although the biker must have done somethign to be banned in the first place, so no sympathy at all.

Amazing that when a police officer speeds they never gat jail terms.
Even though their meant to be police officers and breaking their own rules.
and looking at the video the police car chasing was more likely to cause an accident.
If theres a helicopter watching it why is the police car even chasing him in the first place?

Doing probably more than double the speed limit on an A-road. He could be Valentino Rossi, still doesn't take away the fact he is breaking the law.

Seconded!
Plus, why didn't he stop? I would have thought that blue flashing lights in your mirrors would be a give away

Exactly, it was as safe as you can be at those speeds I thought.
Granted he should be punished for riding whilst dis-qualified but seriously, could the sentence be any harsher

If search was working I'd go back for the White Van Man thread who was banned, jailed, community service, fined thousands etc etc, for overtaking "dangerously" And he still had his license in the first place
