Yeah, dont just floor it out of corners, you will lose time sliding around. Smooth acceleration.

Dont ride the brake like i did Wasnt really my fault, I had to shove the accelerator to get moving, but the brake pedal was really sensitive, especially with your clutch foot

try not to over drive it, really easy to do on a go cart, instead of concentrating on how fast youre going - concertae on being as smooth as you can - and you'll end up going quicker.

slow in fast out!

don't use your breaks

for corners, let off the accelerator then accelerate out of the corner

i dont use full acceleration on the 1st lap till the tyres are warm but once they are warm some serious sideways action is needed Knockhill FTW

how heavy are you?

-lean into the corners with your body,
-brake right at the last moment (on a tight corner) but dont apply the break as your going round, even if you think your going too fast, just free roll it round then apply accelerator on the way out of the corner. (your twice as likely to spin if your going around the corner with your foot on the break, really try to avoid it).
-before you race, try and sus out your race line, look where most people are getting overtaken etc and dont fall into the same trap.
-lastly, dont take any shit from anyone, really get wound up before the race and race aggressively, otherwise you'll get walked on.

This is an amazing feeling, providing you have the right surface and corner for it.
Just feathering the kart as you go around a long sweeping corner with a slick indoor floor is amazing!

if the bends a left hander then when coming out of it steer left half way down put full power on then spin the wheel back full right hand down and power it till the rear wheels loose grip and keep it sliding then bring it back round when your ready to avoid a crash

dont drive it like a car, to many people do (ie breaking for corners wheres there no need)

all about keeping the revs up, as your be cf clutch, and they will take ages for the revs to build up again

bart has pretty much covered it though

Jump up out your seat when accelerating out of corners, takes all the weight away from the kart .
