Thought I would give it a quick wash and wax while weather was nice

Itching to do things to it, but holding off for time being, saying that I have purchased:

V6 rear valance
Cargo Net (shopping went everywhere yesterday)
Legal UK pressed plates

Yip afraid its just a 180 Joe, feels quick enough would just have to spend ££££ to get big power out of it!

Its got full black leather, ideally would have liked red but never found the right one, if a full red leather crops up in excellent condition it might be added!

225 Exhaust coming this week, so the rear valance won't look too odd then!

Welcome to the world of beautifully built and styled interiors! But I thought you would of got a beemer of some sort mate!

Does it have much in the way of options? There is no way that will stay standard for long

So glad you called it "wash and wax" and not "detailed"

Car looks sweet by the way, although I think you would have got better results with the use of a 3M sun gun before waxing!

Remap - You can make them put the power of the 225 model pretty easy!

Yip remap should see upto 220 then a miltek / miltek sports cats should push it passed the 225 mark!

But for the time being I'l be happy with one that works

no way you will get 225 on just those mods

exhauist and sports cats will get you around 215 maybe 220 with a FMIC

After that its new turbo i'm afraid

dont go for power go for delivery

You want something that will hold boost not just spike

Strange, i though the difference in power between the 180 and 225 was a remap, exhaust and a tinker with the boost??

180 uses Ko3s and 225 uses K04 with bigger injectors different con rods

Engiones good for around 300lbs/ft on standard internals for 225

Conrods are the weak point

Also the 210 engine is a stronger unit as it does not have tyhe VVT unit chain which is a bit of a weakness
