if your good enough at selling and dedicated enough you can make a fortune but majorly its hard work , stupid hours and not worth it, most people rely on a basic salary

100% commission will be ok if you don't have any commitments, but still, rather shit. You also know how to budget, because 1 month you may sell enough to cover your outgoings, plus a lot more, then the next month, sell nothing at all meaning you need money from previous month etc.

Don't bother. You want a job where you can sit on CS all morning and still get paid the same amount.

I did it for 6 years. first 3 years had its ups and downs, then moved to a bigger better company. in my first year there I cleared over 40k ofter tax and in the last 2 I would make a minimum of 3.5k a month. best ever month I made 10k in 23 days.
its not for everyone though, f you are good then theres money to be made, lots of it. I have friends that are still doing it, they regularly decalre earnings of 60k a year.

It doesn't say much to me, my mate has just picked one up on a P (or R?) for a touch over £2k. Thats peanuts.

Still, if the most you can aspire to at 24 is a car on finance it is a bit sad IMO, almost as sad as grading someone on their car...

Where does it say anything about finance?
The guy was giving an indication of his friends income, not grading him on his car.

My girlfriends dad is about to start these. He has a family, rent and all sorts to pay
Rather him than me tbh, I like security too much.
