Ok i have heard about these:
http://www.drivingservices.com/driver-awareness/the-courses/national-driver-improvement-scheme.htm
Now, some of you may know about my recent incident with the TWAT who jumped out at my car, to try and damage another one of my cars. Long story short he hit my car, broke his leg, tried to sue me, i was arrested, been on bail since 15th january.
Now today i have spoke to my solicitor, who said the easiest and least risky way out is to let her have a deep chat with the courts and cps, in order to let me get away with the least they said i could plead guilty to "driving without due care and attention"... i could appeal against this but thats risky as they could have convicted me with ALOT more (dangerous driving and gbh with intent, and use of a motor vehicle as a weapon).
So anyway, i have to go court on monday, and please guilty to end this crappy situation i have been put into.
I was wondering, as i only get 6 points chance as ive been driving a year, how do i go about going on the driving course thing instead of points?
Do they offer anyone it for this offence, or can i ask to go on it?
