Nice cars. E36 seems very dated inside now though.

I take it you're not worried about fuel bills?

I'm on my second 325.
They're great cars. strong engines, reliable, solidly built, and planted on the road.

bad is that they're thirsty and the bushes perish quickly.

the 323 will be more economical because of it's extra emissions regulations, but you still wont return brilliant fuel mileage.

i never realised they did estoril on anything other than an m3, but you've already disproved that.

bare in mind that these cars are pretty cheap now, so you might not want to go throwing thousands at it making an m3 rep, when you could have just gone and bought an m3 in the first place.

have a look on e36coupe forum for help/inspiration.

my old man owns a e36 328i, he loves it.. its still quite a nice car very comfy and some of the top spec ones are still pretty good.

as for the estoral blue thing, i think it was only for the m3, or atleast mainly for the m3... it sounds like your after a m3 rep?

post some piccies if/when you get it

dunno, but it would pass as a m3 rep as it has double exhaust ( i think ) like the m3, also had full m3 kit by the looks of the pic...

just might not be quite as quick as the m3, however wont make much difference as theyre all limited to 155 mph...

its worth a try i suppose.. its a nice car and decent ish milage.

just read the advert and it says the car had a £1900 extra of the estoral blue when it was brought, so i was wrong its not just m3.

it's even got the right doorstrips by the look of it.
says the m3 colour was an optional extra when bought new, so that add's up.

will you even get insured on a 323 at 18?

my 325 just about does 30mpg on the motorway and averages not much more than 20 on my commute to work. pre-vanos which makes it worse than a newer one, but i think you'll be lucky to average 30 in a 323.

old cars now, watch out for dogs.

M3 rep may increase your insurance, as it will look like an m3 to potential theives (how they see it)

Good engines, great sound. Comfy and the proper wheels driven

Will be nicer to live with than tin pot hatches but probably not as quick.

The wheels on the one in the link are replicas. It hasnt got the M3 Door mouldings, but it does have a real M3 rear bumper.
