Does it? The degree scheme thingy I did was all Hons, then you got classified depending on your average grade in the exams relating to the professional exams i was taking

BA (Hons) Business Studies. - 1st class. I'm currently in Procurement Management in the public sector after finishing a business graduate scheme a year ago. Money is good but would be a lot better in the private sector, which is where I'll end up eventually.
I use my degree knowledge quite a bit. IMO my degree got me where I am and had given me an excellent grounding for a CIPS professional purchasing and supply chain qualification and a good career path.

BSc (Hons) Internet Communication Systems - 1st
I don't use my degree a whole lot, more the experience I gained on my placement. But I couldn't have got where I am without my degree.

eh must be different in england then, up here you do a degree, pass it, then decide if you want to do another year which would get you the honours part.
