Bollocks!
Not bollocks actually
Dont even think about getting blades either
Oh and buy from a local golf club professional shop! My dad is a golf pro, and has just left being a club pro, because no one is buying from them any more, people buy them online or some shitty discount store!
Support youre local golf club!

Fair enough not getting blades, as no beginner unless an absolute natural is going to be able to hit them.
But to say that better clubs dont wont improve your game is bollocks in my opinion. I was consistany playing to a handicap of around 24 with my starter set however was struggling to reduce my handicap further. I decided to change my clubs and I'm hitting the ball further, more accurately and far more consistantly and as a consequence I have see my Club handicap fall to 18 and my Society handicap to 16. Obviously some of it will be down to an improvement in my ability however being a club longer with every Iron must be down to the equipment and as a result I have far easier 2nd and 3rd shots

True, but i think to be honest, you have to find the right set for you.
Go to youre golf club, and try some out in a lesson with the pro, he should be able to help

You never thought if the 'local golf shops' didnt charge so much, then people would go to them rather than some 'shitty discount store' where they can get the same clubs for far less.
I have Ping I3 btw.
Good site for second hand clubs...

The golf shop will price match.
They have got to make there money some how, these big places sell shit loads, so there is always money coming in, which means they can sell at cheeper prices.
A golf pro cant do that, as he cant order in/sell as much stock
