With a full tank to the light on i get between:

310 - miles (if i give it some)
360 - mostly taking my time (motorway driving)

This is an x16xe, i feel I could make 400 miles if I really drove like a grandad but i can never be arsed.

They really are bad on fuel. Some of the figures you lot are quoting I can get in my Uncles 3.0 V6 Auto Jag (2 Tonnes of machine - can get 31MPG average out of that) and my old works van (used to average 27MPG, HiCube LWB Tranny 3.0 TD).

I get 65 miles to a tenner so... Thats town driving constantly not much right foot either lol works out about 31/32mpg which is ok. When I go on motorway runs it does 40mpg no problem about 80 miles to a tenner

Your engine is doing very good

Cant really judge it on £25 worth as in some places your being charged around £1.20 per litre but i just filled up for £1.06 a litre. Put my old foam filter on and done 25l in one night so put my derestricted box with K&N panel back in and instantly noticed the saving in fuel and more responsive. Whats the best inlet + filter setup available for both economy and performance (when needed)

Derestricted airbox and K&N is probably the best, if you can get a cold air feed to it, that'd be better. I should imagine the Dblias Flowmaster ones aren't bad.

my de-restricted air box sounded sweet, but i only had a paper filter element in.

Got the Viper on now though, and fuel consumption doesnt seem as bad as when i had just a cone filter on.
