And how much do they retail at on average?

Can get them for as little as £3k now really. It'll have high miles and be a pre-facelift, so look like an SXi.

Facelifts are the ones to get, so post 2004. Ok performance and can be made to handle well.

Tax will go up to £260/year though in 2010, or something ridiculous like that.

I'd have one if we didn't have money issues with running cars.

If you've ever been in a 1.6 corsa sport, or a corsa gsi (B)

They're the same speed.

Can get a decent one with about 30k on the clock for £4k.

I wouldn't, for the fact the I think the Corsa C is more refined etc.

Depends on your budget really though. Any Corsa B will fall under the previous tax bracket etc.

I think the 1.8's can return a half decent fuel economy when driven sensibly.

Drove my cousins 1.8 SRi C and IMHO id have lashed a 1.6 Sport.

They sound nice, and pull hard. Nothing like 20XE Pace but fast enough for a Corsa.
