I¡'ve found a plugin for windows media center to allow you to watch Iplayer videos direct from your windows media centre software.
I¡'ve not yet tried it (going to try it at home later), but if it does what it says then its going to be good.
It can be found here

Also, if anyone else has any other useful software, please shout ƒº
