I am currently trying to revise the whole of the discrimination acts ready to get my accredited interviews certificate at work so I can upgrade from people manager to recruiting manager and I cannot beleive the things you cannot say or do when conducting an interview!!!
Its almost to the point the whole thing will be in silence!!
Has anyone else done anything like this????
Ive got a pre course assessment to do and I have to get 100% on 10 questions and keep getting 40%
You cant even ask someone how old they are

You wouldn't need to, it'll be on their CV
If it's not, make an interview form

yes....
but you can pretty much tell if the person is old / young when you meet them... so I ont really think its a show stopper.
Daft... maybe, but you can get round it.
Ask them an indirect Q to help guess if they are mutton dressed as lamb etc

Why can't you ask how old they are? What if you need to know their age
