My Tax runs out end of this month but im having a c20let put in this month also but it wont be on the road untill start of september.
If i tax car now as a 1.6 will i need to tax it again when ive declared it as a 2.0 and if I need to do that will i get the money back that i paid to tax it as a 1.6?

I think you'll just pay the difference.

Same tax bracket anyway isn't it so can't see there being an issue.

When you declare your conversion you are issued with a new tax disc anyway and if its in a higher bracket then you just pay the difference

It's in the same bracket - the car is pre-2001.
