Hi, Im Carlos..
JayCarr is always telling about links to look at on here and has posted up some pics from meets he has been to with me, and said to join up and say hello.
Im A member of several forums.
Never owned a Corsa but my Brother and GF has Corsa C's.
I have a zimmer.. diesel one at that.
Heres a good pic of Jay and I at Snetterton

She is quick enough for me currently. Done a 13.5@105mph at the pod and can return 40+ mpg when driving like a granny.
I know there are corsa's quicker LOL.
Anyhow. Might bump into some of you at a track day or RWYB day at the pod.

Me and Jay lining up at the pod!

Jay came with me to this meet and i think he posted pics on here.
Anyhow.
Nice forum and i have browsed it for while now.
Carlos

I should have mentioned more about the bm, its a 335d which is a 3.0 twin turbo. Stock form 286bhp and 428ib ft. Ive had it re-mapped by DMS and its now producing 344bhp and 530ib ft.
Goes best from a rolling start.
thanks for the welcomes.

Ive never asked them
There shouldnt be an issue. Unless the map causes an engine problem. Which BMW would have to prove that the map caused it, which if successfull the tuner foots the bill

Yes she does like to wheelspin, TC light flashes on even at 90+ mph sometimes on rough surfaces.
I have some vids i can post up later for you guys if your interested. Does corasport let you embed vids from youtube?
Ive found standing starts she is quick but does not really relate to its road performance, 40-140mph she will beat cars that may be quicker at a standing start (e46 m3 for example) which have trick diffs and much longer first gears.

Eventually signed up then!
I think this picture of us at the Pod is a better indication of how much quicker Corsa's are than the derv.
