Yeah.

its hardly like your using it for a race car. Cheap one will work fine for the low levels of boost

I cant remember the name of the brand though. Has been 4 years since I worked there

Don't need this in-car stuff, under bonnet would do. Just need to crank a few more psi to stop smoke.

He's got a tuning box that ups the fueling but not boost and he's got it turned up too high creating soot.

He's hoping that he can up the boost and give it more air for the excess fuel.

Would have been much better off just getting a remap to begin with.

remap costs more, this was supposed to be a cheap car to let me save some cash for a kawi in the next year.
