does take pride in what hes doing... thats very impressive

caar probably came out cleaner than it did from the factory..

how do you become THAT good at detailing ? and is there really the customer base for it ?

This is the type of thing i think 'detailing' is for. If i'm driving about in Lambo's then my car is getting left with a detailer to be pristine by the time i come back when im away on holiday.

not use an agressive polishing pad/set it on low rpm's maybe

yeah it might well be dirty again, but as soon as he washes it again, it'll be perfect.

that's what a lot of people don't understand about these details. they aren't just going to last until next week like a normal wash will, they'l last for years as long as you don't scratch it or use car washes at petrol stations.

Needs to be done though, you wouldn't change a head gasket without skimming the head or at least checking it first woud you ?

i really find detailing interesting! how do you go about getting into the business tho... ive tried looking up companies in my area, but it brings back crap like shitty car washes!!! anyone know where i can find out if theres any in plymouth? can you do apprenticeships?

Then the level of correction would be reduced. You can only go so far before it gets close to burning through the clearcoat.

I find the comments about detailing amusing on here. You all put time and effort into your cars, take pride in them, then go scratch/swirl the shit outta them at the £3 car wash!
