Having a Lymph Gland removed from my neck, 40mm in front of my earlobe.
Its inflamed and they said it may as well come out, i'll have a 40mm scar and its being done under local anaesthetic, should take 40 mins to complete.
Risks are bleeding, nerve damage and infection but complications are rare.
Ben.

I dont get tonsilitus a lot, but when i get it, I get it bad, 2 weeks off work last time because just as it cleared on one side, it infected the other. Never had glandular fever though.
