Our useless local has just rented a new jukebox which can hold 100 albums. it has come half full with random albums on it. the newest of which is over 12 months old. its basically full of crap.
I've asked if they can get the other 50 album slots filled up and they said yes but we have to tell him what we want on it.
I was gonna do it all myself but thats not really fair if its just the stuff that i like.
so, if you have any suggestions of good albums, by one artist or compilations then post away......

Might be an idea to look on HMV's top album charts as this will be the most modern popular choices and should appeal to most. Might be also worth getting a few of the Now series compilations.

Sounds like you've got plenty of Rock/Indie sorted.
As it's for a jukebox stick to mainstream dance. Take a look at the Clubland Classics or Ministry Of Sound Annual albums. Maybe add some mainstream trance too. Gatecrasher classics albums contain most of the essential trance tracks.

Depends on the pub. Not very pub music in my opinion.
If any of that was put on in pubs around where I live the red button would be pressed and you'd be laughed outta the pub

yeah but they will be mixed, so lets say someone likes track 10, they will get the end of 9 and the start of 11 with 10 in the middle

He asked for dance suggestions. That's the only reason I suggested the music from those sort of albums.
I'm not really into maintstream dance myself. Prefer hard trance.

Also, as for not wanting mixed albums. I can't really think of many dance compilations that aren't mixed together. Sorry I can't help there.
You could download lots of tracks individually but it would take quite a while. I'd do you some mainstream dance compilation CD's if you could pick them up. I've got shed loads of stuff.

i've already considered putting my own together but this is a rented jukebox and you have to ask the hire company to put the albums on that you want.

Ah I see. So basically you're just making suggestions?
Just stick to the stuff people have already posted in here. Maybe some 70's, 80's pop like Michael Jackson too. But I'm guessing there's already alot of stuff like that on?

A4 sheet of paper on bar with a pen and ask for suggestions
Everyone has a chance for an input then.
