i have sky+ HD in my living room and normal sky in my bedroom

can i put my hd box in my bedroom so i can watch a recorded program up here?

yep its only a hard drive, you can watch it with out a aerial in too i believe so anywhere in your house...

You can't watch it without the ariel, but you can swap your boxes around so the HD is upstairs Mark.

think you have to have the sky input so if you plug at least one in, which the upstairs one should have it will work

Good question, although I know for a fact you can't run the + box upstairs (i.e record upstairs) unless you have the right cabling which you won't have. I guess the recorded program would work though as you wouldn't need the other input hmm

when i tried to watch something before recorded on my sky + box, if i put one input in i could view it, but not if i didnt have one in

but should work on single cable that you have upstairs
