Many many moons ago (about 6 year and that is my last crash) i killed a Toyota Hilux by smashing into the side of it as i was overtaking 3 cars.... he turned into a farm where he worked. Snapped the rear wheel off and shoved it about 10ft. I was doing about 70 and hit it at about 40mph.

Anyways.... today i'm taking it steady as i was the 3rd vehicle back from a bus that stopped at a bus stop. The van that was right behind the bus could have gone straight round as there was no cars coming, but i think he was asleep then there was a gold Toyota Yaris in front of me (another woman driving it must have been asleep).

As we were coming to a stop i heard an almighty screetching of tyres... I looked in my rear view mirror to see a Toyota Hilux about to smash into the rear of me. Oh shit!!!! Meanwhile that van that was behind the bus started to go past the bus and that Yaris was waiting for...... (dunno, snow maybe) so was still infront of me. Back to the skidding Hylux about to avenge his brothers death .... I went straight for 1st gear and booted it away from danger but i had to also get past this bus so kept on booting it till i knew i was safe... looked in my rear view mirror and saw the Hilux in the middle of the road just where i would have been.

Safe at last Nope... Looked up the hill and i see a camera van "wankers" (i'm doing 50 in a 30) jumped on the anchors then turned off. Looks like i've got something in the post with my name on it

Summary.... Hilux avenging brothers death leading to me getting 3 points... Do'h!!!

Then there's all the messing around getting another car plus not working due to the whiplash.

I think i chose well with my split second thinking.
