I wouldn't listen to JR, if it was up to him you'd be driving an old C reg fiesta with a universal fit Rage backbox.
Im sorry, but I just lol'd at that

Go for it as long as its a 225.
Even if nots as much of a pure sports car as others say it is still going to be a step up from a Corsa (however nice yours is mate )

there is more to cars than going as fast as possible. Theyare pretty unique in what they offer for the price. Look gorgeous IMO.

Guess you are going for a 180 then?
One I looked at today is a 180 but its the 6 speed, would like to take out a 225 just to compare tbh 180 felt quick, and can be re-mapped to 220ish if I get bored!
you will never get 220 unless yo udo some serious mods
The 225 is far quicker on the move than the 180

TBH its not put my mind off yet, just a shock, and more £££ to spend next year!
Col, plans would be, drive it, fill it up with petrol, drive it, and repeat (for time being)
Joe, yeh back seats are useless, sales woman got in the back and was cramped behind me and I'm a short arse! So a tall driver and back seat is a no go!
All pretty much depends on if my car goes now!
sounds good plan

I get roughly 30mpg out of my remapped 225.
Agreed they dont handle great, but i do quite a bit of travelling around with work, and its comfy enough.
Most of my travelling is on the motorway, lazy 6th gear overtaking.
In a straight line it will do 0-60 in 5.5 and 0-100 in 14.0.
But i'm thinking of selling up and buying something different. The TT is too 'safe', its no mental enough.
