Just thinking if I were to buy this, could I take out an insurance policy to get it to where Im keeping it and then cancel in the same day / next day without incurring a charge? Wouldnt be using it for a year but if I get it cheap would be good

yes you can, and if your older than 21 "i think" you can get short term insurance. i use norwich union.
but if not you can take a policy out, then cancel it, normally they give you 14 days grace to keep it or not before you incurr any charges

Thats what im thinking adam, both yours and Ian's suggestions dont work for me cos im only 20
Also, brilliant 'rebuild' thread, something I could never do. So basically the shell has w/e mileage is on the clocks but the engine is looking at 20k???

Also, I wouldnt be worried about it not making anything, its got 14 bids so far, it will go crazy on it soon!

yup the milage is the shell, and vaux fitted a engine at 38k.
not knowing exactly what they did i serviced every serviceable part
and im soo temted to keep it and use it, as i miss my old sport, but. i keep telling myself to finish the white corsa, thats why im building it ...

Someone could keep bidding for you to bump it up
But I would worry. I sold a shitty HealthRider on eBay, pretty worthless considering it's old technology. 2 hours before it ended after a 7 day auction, it sold for £25

A finish time of around 7pm on a Sunday evening? No worries, perfect timing. I think it will end up going for more than you expect tbh, and more than I can afford

if you want it have a bid.
i want ppl to bid to buy, bumping it up is good, but i run the risk of not selling it, and i need to sell it.
its filling my bro's garage. he is getting his car back so it needs to go.
the bids that are on there are real.

if it helps it helps. this is a worthy car.
i would rather someone on here gets it and will look after it. rather than some spoilt kid get it and fill it with tat.
