Was picked to be part of the Max Power Top 50 at Street Life, and had to be at the NEC before 10pm on Friday night....
Left work at 13:45, bombing down the M6 making most excellent time, only to be struck by an accident at Jnc 19/20. M6 closed!
Diverted off the M6 heading towards Cheshire to get back on the M6 at some point, driving along the second lane laughing at all the people sitting their, I came across Jimmy in his van with a SatNav so followed him we both then came 2 miles from Oulton Park to be hit with Time Attack cars leaving and another crash on a cross roads....
Finally found my way back to the M6, blasted down to Birmingham and arrived about 20.30 - 21.00.
Washed, polished and waxed the car before heading to the Hilton, to be struck by what seemed like a dance party..... checked in and straight down to paaaaaaaaarty!
Got ourselves a pint of stella-act-a-twit and boogied on down in the dance room, before being confronted by a man asking:
Man: Are you drinking alcohol,
Jonny: Yes, but £4.10 a pint I won't be having any more
Man: I want one
Jonny: Go get one, bars just outside pal
Man: I would, but we are all recovering alcoholics in here
Me / Jonny: oooooops!
Anyways, show was ok, nothing special too small for a weekend event, here are the pics mainly women as cars were not that special!

Probably perspective due to the wheel size, but the astra looks to have bigger brakes than the ferrari.

Ferrari was on 20's  not sure if Astra was 17's or 18's

There is no filler on that civic, £35k worth of metal fabrication and electrical wiring, everything moves or can be moved through a remote control.
TVs to add, motorise more parts of the car like the bootlid and bonnet etc.

AK would have been Friday evening, I would have been about 2 cars infront of Jimmy outise Oulton Park unless was after the traffic lights where the accident happened, as we got split up!
Some random lads were giving Jimmy abuse and hand gestures a pub on way to Oulton Park also, wankers!
Jambo, nope the hoe was infornt of it all the time, noting special I'm afraid tho!

Is it me or do these 'models' at car shows get worse and worse by the year? That 1 bird deserves to be sat on the floor, fatty.
Also that cream Fiesta looks horrible.
