The day i passed my test i drove me and 4 mates to the cinema, was mid october at the time and we had alot of rain that day. I was driving my Fiesta Mk3 1.1 at the time, driving along the A27 at 70 in the left hand lane of the dual carriageway, I knew nothing whatsoever about aqua plaining etc or what to do when you hit a puddle of standing water etc.

Hit the puddle at 70, it was massive as it took over all of left lane and half of the right lane, was about 30ft in length as well, hit the puddle aqua plained and i didn't know what to do, thank god i didn't turn the wheel or anything i just kept going straight otherwise we would of lost control probably, 5 people in a mk3 1.1 fiesta has the worst handling already, let alone aqua plaining!

Since then i avoid them like the plague, unless its a must that i have to go through it and can't slow down incase i cause an accident, i just go straight through them and don't turn the wheel at all, shit myself everytime as i know how dangerous they can be
