Anyone had one before? I think i have one, but i'm not sure.

I've got a red bit and a tiny little lump where i cut the my lip shaving the other day. Can it happen from that, or do you have to catch it from someone/thing?

Can get them from being stressed, lack of sleep, kissing somebody with one and so on. Is it itchy or tingly?

Nope not itchy or tingly.

I don't think i'm stressed...
With the weekend i've had, it might be lack of sleep...
Its just odd how its appeared on the same place i cut myself.
Its definitely not an infected lump either.

hhmmm... i'll go get that zovirax shit just incase anyway.

Can't be arsed goin to titp with some rank mess on my face I'll probably look bad enough as it is...

With Cold Sores, You'll have had to get the virus from somewhere to begin with.

Then it lies dormant in your nerve cells and rears it's head (often in times of physical or mental stress) and sometimes for no reason at all.

This is ultimately the reason that some people get cold sores all the time and some people never at all, because the either have or haven't the virus.

As said, True cold sores usually come from nowhere (unlike your shaving injury) and due to the nature of them being involved with nerve cells do tingle. IMO Zovirax given your presentation wont help particularly; sounds more like a little bit of inflammation or infection. Should settle fast. on it's own.

edit. P.S. Enjoy TITP
