as above really, mine are all cracked from the last owner when they were pulled off the car, and i was told by the local bodyshop they cant be fixed due to being rubber... is this entirely true or does anybody know of a way for them to be fixed so they wont flex once painted and cause the paint to crack????

if they are bannana shape, they allway's will be
they are rubber with a metal insert

its not that they are banana shaped, its more the fact there are cracks all over them, the bodyshop told me that because they are rubber, they easily flex, and the paint would flake very quickly.... is there no way at all to fix them???
