I managed to get a close up nosey around one of these the other day, doesn't look fantstic from the outside but the interior is a definite improvement.
Looks kinda like an X5 with the back cut down.

It looks like a 3 series, merged with a 5 series, throw in an x5 roof / doors etc, and put some ford focus st alloys on it.

it makes me think 'Bowler Wildcat' for some reason.

If you don't need the extra space, why have the extra space?
save weight and make it more aerodynamic. Both good for fuel economy, no?

I like them. It will do well as a product.
Wont be a volume model like the X5, but BMW have created another strange niche, that will probably do well and others follow.
