My dad was following one of these the other day, and he's become quite fond of them. They remind him of a modern Lotus Carlton he says...
Its a little bit odd as he's a more of a Ford fan and he's never really liked Vauxhalls, but stranger things have happened I suppose.
Had anyone been in one? Or had any experiences with them?
I want to compile some info about them and see if i can tempt him to buy one. So load me up with pictures and stats please...

I was driving one earlier today, the first tuned one I have had the pleasure of driving They are immense machines but this one had a suspension knock which was impossible to find
Also had 20" rims from vauxhall, lowered, full exhaust system with panel filter and a remap (Its a special deal that our dealership does) and fuck me it makes a difference over standard

Fuel consumption isn't really an issue.
One question I want to ask is, given the choice, what would you rather have?
1. VXR8
2. Lotus Carlton
I think i'd have the Carlton, because it is, and always will be more of an icon. Therefore I imagine it will still be worth good money in about 5 years time.

I've still not had the pleasure of seeing or hearing one in reality. I'll probably cream myself when I do though. I'm a major sucker for a V8 burble

Lotus Carlton is an entirely different proposition. You can't commute in one for a start.
