i've been offered a 5 door mk4 fiesta for nothing (head gasket has gone, been sitting for a year) and was wondering if there is any value weighing it in for scrap (metal)?

i will obviously do an ebay job for general bits etc, but how much is the shell with/without doors, bonnet etc worth?

cheers

You get more for a drive in than a pickup.

thanks for the advice chaps!

i've just found out it's a 2 owner car with all the bills etc, just needs a new headgasket / engine.

the parkers price if £500-£700 for a runner - it might be worth getting an engine (roughly £100 on ebay) and putting it back on the road...

TBF, give it a clean and slap it on ebay.

GF's dad bought his 1.8 Zetec Escort Mk5 from a couple up the road for £200 5 years ago. 80k later, the cambelt snapped and put 16 vavles into the head. Ouch.

I slapped it on ebay for him, starting price of £20 and it sold or £183.99 or something silly
