i know a guy with a 100cc racing go kart, engines made by rotax, which is a really good company who also build the aprilia rs125 engines, its automatic and two stroke, fast, if your interested i can get some pictures, but would you be willing to travel to leics?

my mate has just built one with a vfr400 engine bolted to it. he is on png

My mate built one using a bike engine but it would always snap chains when changing gear ???

too much power, theres a r1 in a go kart on youtube, and it wont go in a straight line looks loadsa fun though

the track karts are better i had 1 a racing 100cc reboarded to 160cc very fast!!

go kart tracks are tight and short burst straights,

it would weigh alot with crap handling and he wouldnt be able to put the power down or change gears quick enough let alone go in a straight line while on full throttle, thats if its sprocketed like a bitch!

but if were talking about having fun on a empty runway then the vfr 400 would more fun

the rotax 100s are quick but theres alot better go karts out there
