I'm working on getting fitter. Been up the side of the overhang in the middle, if you look you'll see a blob which I think is a person, I went up there.

It's quite poignant, there are tributes set into the rock dedicated to people who have died (not necessarily on this face) and crosses at the tops of some of the outcrops.

That's the type of face i'd love to abseil down rather than climb up

Ironically i believe abseilen, the word that is derived from, is the German 'to rope down' if i am not mistaken.

Seil is rope, abseil is "rope off" or similar.

I have always wanted to go rock climbing like that, not inside climbing the fake walls, never known where to go, or who to go with tho!
