used to have one on mine 3" outward rolled tailpipe with cat, sounded just right, not too loud or raspy, well worth the money

Got a sportex 4" Backbox on mine. fitted alright and sounds very nice with my remus centre pipe Quite loud though!

my brother has got a cat back with the optinal middle box and sounds nice. they are tricky to fit but you get what you pay for

Backbox's fit alright. I had the oval one they do and looked perfect size imo

great i might be getting a 3'' outward rolled backbox, already got a remus and that was the worse fit ever!!! thanks for the replys

i had a ca back version looked the same as simons and it was quite quiet but sounds nice from outside

Agree 100% with that.
Ive had manifolds touching the sump. Backboxes burning the bumper etc.
They always fit terribly.
But they are ok for the money. Dont last long as there mild steel. But they sound quite nice.

i've had a cat back, sportex exhaust which was a bit of an arse to fit as didn't line up with the hangers properly.
had a couple of backbox's which i haven't had any problems with at all. They sound nice, have a deeper 'rumble' but not chavtasticly loud at all, sounds more or less standard untill you put your toe down

May mate had a 4" one on his 214, it sounded quite nice and was a good low, loud rumble and sounded great after about 4000 rpm, but I think that was down to the engine.

That's a good description, don't know how it fit though because he got some exhaust and tyre company to do it for him

well i can see were ppl are comin from but i have a full system on my xe (manifold, connector pipe, center section and back box) all fit nicley and lined up fine
it an ok system dnt like the sound that much little bit too raspy for me but meh was cheap so does the job for now lol

Ive got the double square backbox, sounds quite good. At tick over its very quiet n not bad when general driving. Put ur foot down n u know its there but its not deafening
