anyone had experience of 2.5v6 engine fitted in a mk3 astra gsi or similar,how they drive/go/ect...
i've been offered a deal on a really nice k reg 1 for my x reg phase 1 172 and am in 2 minds,i know they're floating around so i was wondering if anyone can give me a bit of an insight.

Built 1 a while back.Fitted a C25XE with 3.0 cams,filter,3.8 bar FPR,F20 box with flat flywheel.Went well and sounded the nuts.Drove pretty good aswell.Make sure its got uprated front shockies or itl be a bit bouncy.
They have bags of torque availabe in any gear at any revs and they pull like a train.
Used to be able to launch it pretty well with no wheelspin.
Smoked a UK spec WRX scooby from the lights and it used to stick with a freinds old EVO5 from the lights when he was running standard boost.Also used to stick with a mates XE nova on the dual carriageway.There was nothing in it neither of us could pull away.
