When selling stuff on eBay is there anyway of being able to keep the Buy It Now price once people have started bidding on a item?
I didn't know it was taken away when somebody bids on something?

eBay is gay if that's the way it has to be

Load of shite - just had to set a reserve price in order to keep the BIN for a bit longer when people bid - what a load of shit!
Why can't seller choose to keep the BIN once bidding starts?
It's part of the gamble - keep it and the bids might of gone over the BIN price, lose it and the bids might not reach what the BIN was - that's the gamble and should be left to the seller to decide imo

Yeah the only way is to set a reserve or increase the start price to discourage bidding, both of which are chargeable.
