basically i got a letter in the post saying i was speedin 39 in a 30 i already have 3 points and im a month away from driving 2 years.looking like im gonna lose my licence but is there anything they can do if it means your going to lose your job.work in motor trade and i no i shouldnt of been speeding does any one know much about this kind of thing?

did it give you an option to do the speed awareness course etc?


How soon do you have to let them know could you not drag it out a few weeks

disqualification on 6 points in first 2 years of driving.

39 in a 30 = 3 points and £60 fine.

you'd have to go to court to argue your case, so theres court costs to consider as well as your fine.

other than that, I dont know

usually 10 or 14 days iirc...and it counts from date of offence, not conviction AFAIK
