somebody offered to buy my car off me

Took me by surprise a bit. I was sitting behind a Zafira, waiting for a pump, when this guy got out the back of the Zafira and started walking towards my car. I was in the car so turned the stereo down, and opened the window. That's when he said, 'Don't spose you want to sell your car?'

He said he's been looking around for ages and cannot find a reasonably priced local car. They are either 'all in Scotland' or priced way too high.

What to do?!

If he's offering a good price and you fancy a change then go for it. If you like the car then keep it.

Always be decisive unless you're unsure

Well I'm very unsure, I like my car and change isn't always a good thing. Hmmm..

The fact he's approached you means advantage Nath, you clearly would like double the book price for it or he can go to Scotland and get one himself!

My Dad is on the verge of part exhanging his 52 plate Astra Cab Linea Rossa edition. I'd like that but doubt I'd get enough for my car to cover the difference.
