The city is well over 800 years old, but 800 years ago to the day, tomorrow, is when it was granted freedom from the church or some shit, so basically is when the city was properly founded. Celebrations over the whole city all day tomorrow, but im looking forward to the free firework show that apparently will be the biggest the city has ever seen. They are setting it up already now, I took 3 pics when i was on the way to the beach. There are two launch sites, the one here i took the pics of, and over the other side of the bay by thast building on the far left hand side of the 1st pic. I'm so excited, i love fireworks lol

I was standing at the fence taking pics, but they guys were still setting things up so I guess it will be further protected when they go!
