I've found some dials on eBay with a rev counter, and they have the same number written on the front as mine (K=26838), but they haven't said if they're from a 12v or not. Would they be the right ones because that number is the same? Cheers.

The mileage is not far off mine, but I will need it adjusted, what's the best way of getting that done? Should I take them to a garage?

Ttt. Should I just email them and ask what they came from?
Sent: "Hi, do you know what engine the car had that these dials came off of? Cheers."

Easy to do on a Corsa with a screw driver. AFAIR, theres a locking pin. Remove that and you can put the numbers to the correct mileage. I did it when I changed my clocks to ones with a rev-counter.

Cheers Dan, sounds easy enough then I thought maybe it had to be done electronically because they're not cable driven dials.
I've asked the chap what engine they're off so if he says anything other than 1.0, 12v or 3 cylinder, then I won't get them Unless there's a way to make the tacho work properly... Guessing it has some cogs in it or summat?

The red line on those is the same as mine, in my 12v granted, still might not work, but I can't see them being far out.
And for future use, if the speedo starts at 10mph, they are cable drive.
Start at 0mph, they are electrically drive.
Corsa B 12v is electrical.

The rev counter is miles out,
as I said, my 4 cylinder 1.2 8v idled at 500 and redlined at 4000
by that I didnt mean the redline on the clocks were at 4000, I ment my car limited with the needle at 4000

Cheers Deano, I knew about the electric/cable thing but not that all 12v's are electric
That sounds a bit random, Matt, maybe they got confused because of the extra cylinder

I'm 100% certain my red line is 6krpm. When the car was RR'd, that is how far they went

IIRC the handbook says 6400 for 12v's. I think it was the handbook

Well, my clocks go up to 7krpm. So they should fit your 12v as long as they are electrically driven

Cheers mate, I just don't want to put ones in that won't up the miles correctly. Might take a look in classifieds
