I've just been hit with £63.00 in bank charges........................for being £20..00 overdrawn.
I've a direct debit for my phone, meant to come off on the 2nd of the month.
I paid for something online on the 9th and checked I had enough in the account to cover the payment before I sent it. Turns out the direct debit hadnt been taken out on the 2nd, they didnt take it off until the 10th and it left me overdrawn
I'm going to write to them, it was a genuine mistake. Whats the chances of them cancelling the fees? I've never been overdrawn before

If its a one off then they will sometimes just refund it.

Ring em, from what ive heard they are usually really lenient with people who hardly ever get the charges.
