model report you wont need as its older than 10 years i think it is, Your probley talking about £2800 all in maybe

Just depends how good the company is on shipping, you get the odd that will take 6+ months or should only take 2months max

Classics aren't too dear here in the UK anymore tbh. I wouldnt bother. £4-5k would easily get you a '99+ STI.

You never know the history on the car too over there, so you do tend to risk it unless you pick a good import company but its very hard getting one of them these days too.

Sounds like a bad start if you're already stretching your budget to buy one. THESE AREN'T CHEAP CARS TO RUN AND MAINTAIN. I should know.

Petrol alone, when it used to be cheaper cost me around £120 a week. In comparison the saxo VTS only cost me about £40-50. Granted I put my foot down a lot, but if you think you're going to drive a scooby sensibly all the time, you're just kidding yourself.

I am registered, but not a paid member. TBH I find that site VERY boring and never post. It's full of old men. I just used to use it for the classifieds and have a search if I needed some info.

Slow as hell too

TBH, no other forum beats this one for banter. Scoobynet is actually really good for technical car advice tho.

I cant even begin to imagine the running costs of a tuned impreza in the current days of 1.30/l super. I used to be like 80 quid a week back when I had mine when super unleased was like 94p a liter, just for travelling to work aswell really & mine wasnt even a balls out model
