I have a role in technical support and tbh, i wouldn't recomend it. The pay is shit, it's so stressful and the hours are long.

I have to fill in time sheets for every job i do, the customers are on my back not wanting to be charged for the full amount of time spent on a job, the manager wanting as much as she can off the customer, and generally being rushed about all the time.

I'm not kiding when i say i've lost several mates with my mood swings, even a gf.

Weird thing is, i fucking love it

Infact the only support I will do, is supporting software.

I'm never going to be a monkey running around making sure their mouse ball is free of fluff again...

As a Software Developer I'll have people who'll do that for me.

im into software development and testing for HMRC Customs imports exports

its a pretty good gig but i want to go more hardware side i think. Thinking server admin/security
